Lemon Tea, a refreshingly good start to your day

Lemon tea or lemon water is lauded as a healthy drink. As a source of vitamin C lemon water can boost your immune system. There are others that claim it’s got Alkalising properties and that’s a very good thing! These views are widely debated now, for good reason.

Your body is kept in a minutely fine balance and the real science of how it’s managed is very very complicated. But if you enjoy the taste of lemon water and feel that it’s good for you, your doing good.

We’ve served lemon water to our yoga retreat guests for years.

Lemon tea or strictly speaking lemon water is a really healthy drink and a recommended way to start your daily intake. We’ve served this regularly on retreat, particularly if there is an detox theme.

  • 2 slices fresh unwaxed lemon
  • 150 ml boiled water

  • Slice your lemon
  • Boil your water
  • Add the lemon to the water serve in a bone china cup..enjoy
