Hi! My Name Is Erling McCracken, and I’m Here to Share the Journey of Yoga on the Isle of Wight with You!

As a Scaravelli-inspired yoga teacher, my journey has been one of self-discovery, growth, and a deep connection to the transformative power of yoga. Based on the beautiful Isle of Wight, I bring over 25 years of experience to guide individuals in exploring yoga as a path to awareness.

My philosophy, deeply influenced by Vanda Scaravelli’s approach, emphasises a profound trust in the body’s innate wisdom. Here on the Isle of Wight, I create a space where students can surrender to the natural pull of gravity, explore mindful movement, and cultivate a deeper connection with their breath.

For over 30 years, this practice has been weaving together the different aspects of my life. Through my own journey, including experiences like recovering from a prolapsed disc and hip replacement, I’ve discovered that yoga is about much more than poses – it’s about understanding our bodies’ natural intelligence and wisdom.
