Scaravelli Inspired Yoga

Welcome to My Yoga Space

My name is Erling McCracken, and I’ve been teaching yoga for over twenty years. My approach blends Scaravelli-inspired yoga principles with evidence-based movement science, integrating biomechanics and neurology to support a practice that is deeply responsive to the body’s natural intelligence.

Alongside personalised one-to-one sessions and in-home practice, I also offer small group classes in my Shanklin studio. These classes are intentionally kept small, creating a calm and supportive space to explore mindful movement at your own pace.

Rather than focusing solely on form, I explore functional movement patterns, proprioception, and the nervous system’s role in movement and awareness. This changes the approach to practice, moving away from prescribed forms (asana/poses) toward a more intuitive connection with your body’s innate wisdom, allowing you to move with ease, adaptability, and resilience.

Whether you’re new to yoga or refining your practice, my teaching is designed to be accessible to all people, helping you move in ways that feel natural, intuitive, and supportive.
